TEACHING INTERESTS:

General and Systemic Pathology to professional and graduate students; Specialty board exam training of anatomic pathology residents.

 

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Development of animal models for human cancer and the pathogenesis of infectious diseases. Particularly interested in the characterization of the inflammatory response in neoplastic and infectious diseases. Using techniques such as in-situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry, she has helped further characterize the molecular pathogenesis of diseases in a variety of animal models. Additionally, Dr. Langohr also has a keen interest in ocular pathology.
